Una mujer llamada María, hermana mayor de tres hermanos enfermó de lepra de una manera bastante extraña como dicen por ahí: "como por arte de magia". Resulta que esta mujer no le gustó mucho el tipo de mujer que su hermano tomó por esposa y lo discutio con su otro hermano menor, éste tampoco le pareció bien y juntos decidieron reclamarselo, pero en eso que ellos están hablando sobre el asunto de repente María se da cuenta que su piel esta llena de escamas blancas y se aterra de esto. Entonces el hermano de ella que habia tomado por esposa a la mujer que a María no le parecía, hizo esta oracion:  "Oh Dios, cúrala, por favor." y Dios le respondió y María fue sanada.
